"Whip My Hair"

What's up my blog family?  Midterms were a headache and I've been away from the blog scene but I'm back with R&B newcomer Willow Smith.The nine year old daughter of very famous actor and actress Will and Jada Smith, this little girl was bound to at least try the celebrity world right? Well when i first caught wind of her having a single out I was thinking to myself another child being pushed into the spot light but with this nine year old that was definitely not the case. Coming off as a very determined and independent nine year old, Willow describes the song as "not being afraid to be yourself, and not let anyone tell you its wrong." So after giving the song a listen I was sold! As a woman 'whipping" your hair is like a right of passage I'll say, so to have a nice up beat song with a catchy chorus I don't see how Willow can go wrong. She is signed by Jay Z and the song is in heavy rotation. The nine year old will be celebrating her birthday on Halloween and I dont see a better way to began by debuting her video on music channels such as BET and MTV. Give the song a listen, hope you like, its blasting in my room as i blog.
